How to Apply

The Rotary Youth Exchange Program is open to young people, generally between the ages of 15-18, the children of Rotarians and non-Rotarians alike.

Remember, start the process early! The Rotary Youth Exchange program is highly selective, so start planning as soon as possible. For long-term exchanges, apply nine to 12 months before you want to leave; for the short-term program, apply at least four months in advance of your departure. Note that for Long Term, Clubs will be looking for candidates from August to November. For Short Term, the recruitment period is more extended and some clubs are able to process students as late as February/March.
